About Us

We are seven young girls, passionate about using technology to combat domestic violence. With our coding skills, creativity, and determination, we are developing solutions that empower victims, educate communities, and break the cycle of abuse.

Our Mission

Our goal is simple: to harness the power of technology for social change. By building digital tools, raising awareness, and creating safe spaces, we strive to support survivors and foster a future free from domestic violence.

Meet Our Team

💜 Nankanja Veronica – Team Leader & Vision Bearer

I carried the vision of Silence No More from the very beginning. I wanted us to build something that wasn’t just digital, but deeply emotional — a space that could meet someone at their lowest and gently guide them toward hope. I led this amazing team of girls with purpose and unity, ensuring every decision we made came from a place of care. For me, this wasn’t just a project. It was a calling to stand up for those who have been silenced, and to remind them — their pain matters, and their healing matters too.

🎨 Kanswa Vanessa Eva – Web Designer

I designed the way this website looks and feels — but it was more than just making things pretty. I wanted every color, every shape, every layout to feel like a soft embrace. Survivors don’t need loud or cold designs — they need calm, warmth, and quiet strength. I made sure that from the moment someone lands on the page, they feel like they’ve stepped into a space created just for them — where they can breathe, reflect, and begin to feel safe again.

📚 Christine – Research & Resource Manager

My role was to gather truth. I searched for real, reliable information about abuse, recovery, support systems, and safety. I didn’t want anyone to leave this website confused or afraid. I wanted them to know their feelings were valid, and that there is help. Every hotline, every resource, every fact I added was chosen with the hope that it might reach someone in a moment of crisis — and offer a way out.

🛡️ Tereza – Cybersecurity Expert

was responsible for protecting the privacy and safety of every person who visits this site. Many people searching for help are doing so in secret — and I took that seriously. I made sure there was no tracking, no exposure, no danger. The tools we used — like encrypted journals and quick exit buttons — were all chosen so that survivors could breathe easier knowing someone was looking out for them. In this project, I became not just a tech mind, but a guardian of digital safety.

📣 Niktah – Outreach & Emotional Support Advisor

helped guide the emotional voice of this site. I asked questions like: “How would someone in pain feel reading this?” “Would these words hurt or help?” I made sure the site felt warm, non-judgmental, and full of care. I believe healing starts when someone feels seen — and I wanted this website to be a mirror for those who’ve forgotten their strength. My heart went into every line we wrote, every choice we made.

🖊️ Faith – Content Creator & Writer

I wrote the quizzes, the emotional check-ins. But I didn’t just write — I listened. I imagined someone reading these words alone, unsure, and scared. And I wanted my writing to speak to them like a friend. Soft, understanding, and strong. I believe words have power — and I used that power to build messages that say: You’re not weak. You’re surviving. And you matter.

💻 Deborah – Web Developer

I brought this website to life through code. Every page, every button, every part of the experience — I built with care and precision. But more importantly, I built it with heart. I thought about how a scared girl might use it in the middle of the night, on a small phone, in silence. I wanted it to be easy, calm, and beautiful. Behind every line of code was a message: You are safe here.

Our Impact

From building awareness platforms to developing safe communication tools for survivors, we use technology to make a difference. Every line of code we write is a step towards change.
